Getting to know Taylor Lorenz

Hello! I'm glad you're here. My name is Taylor Lorenz. I have been working in the mental health field for ten years, including work as an elementary and middle school counselor. I moved from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Denver, CO in 2012 to attend the University of Denver. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, as well as a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from the Erikson Institute in Chicago, IL. I specialize in anxiety, stress, and conflict resolution, and I am passionate about helping people learn skills they can use to decrease anxiety, gain confidence in themselves, and improve relationships with others. My approach is rooted in solution-focused brief therapy, among other eclectic techniques, which means I believe in working collaboratively with you to find practical solutions that can make a real difference in your life. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, navigating life transitions, or looking to improve your relationships, I am here to support you. I understand that each person's journey is unique, and I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. Together, we will work on building the skills and resilience you need to face life's challenges with confidence. In addition to my professional work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring the beautiful landscapes of Colorado, and staying active through skiing and chasing after my two kiddos. These activities help me stay grounded and balanced, and I encourage my clients to find their own sources of joy and relaxation. If you're ready to take the next step towards a more fulfilling life, I would be honored to work with you. Let's embark on this journey together.
