Getting to know Teauania Charles

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker committed to helping individuals learn how to cope with the stressors of daily life. Life can be difficult to navigate alone, especially when dealing with anxiety and/or depression. I am here to come alongside you and travel with you through the journey. The priority of my work focuses on building healthy relationships with yourself through mindfulness and self-compassion. I have been trained in a variety of approaches, from CBT to ACT, because I know that everyone is different, and it helps me to collaborate with each client and empower them to reach their goals to achieve holistic health and prosperity. I have been working as a mental health professional since 2010. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Family Studies and Human Services at Kansas State University in 2011, received my Master's degree in Social Work in 2017 from Wichita State University, and my Doctorate in Social Work in 2024. I am passionate about creating an open and secure space for individuals living with mental illness.
