Life can be tough, and sometimes we all feel a bit lost. I understand that life can throw us curveballs, and it's okay to ask for help when things get overwhelming. With my guidance, grounded in my Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, you can learn how to navigate those challenging moments and find your path to happiness and peace.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey where you and I work together to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. We'll develop strategies to cope with life's challenges, i.e. (stress, anxiety, depression, or other emotional struggles), and I'll provide you with a safe, non-judgmental space to share your concerns.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Life may be tough at times, but with the right support, you can overcome its hurdles and discover a brighter future. One unique aspect of my counseling approach is that I offer faith-based counseling for those who find comfort and strength in their faith. The first session is the intake, and I will gather information about you and answer any questions that you may have about the counseling process and/or myself as a counselor. I am a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and highly believe in talk therapy. After the first couple of sessions, I will develop a formative diagnosis and an associated treatment plan.

Payment is due in full at the beginning of the session. I will provide a receipt for in-network clients. I will provide a superbill for out of network clients to submit on their own to their insurance company.
