“I saw Teresa on and off for marriage counseling (by myself, the marriage itself didn't last but that is not Theresa's fault), along with individual growth opportunities after the marriage had ended.
She is a very kind, but honest person. She tries to see all sides equally whether you're talking to her alone or with someone else whom you have relationship issues with. She has great feedback for all parties, and is helpful to respond to email outside of her working hours when she has a chance.
She has given some great exercises for me to use along with some excellent advice in regards to what the right decision might be in a given situation. She doesn't force you to see her viewpoint, rather she tries to gently guide you to enlightenment through carefully constructed thoughts and actions.
I very much enjoyed our sessions, and would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to solve relationship issues and/or are looking to grow themselves to be better!”

I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hofstra University and a Bachelor’s degree from Molloy University, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I received my BA in Psychology from Molloy University and my Masters Degree from Hofstra University. I have worked in a variety of settings including an outpatient mental health clinic, group and private practice. I am relatable, empathetic and active with my clients, offering a holistic, solution focused approach in treating a variety of issues
