What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but my goal is to make the process feel safe, supportive, and collaborative. When you come into a session with me, you can expect a psace where you'll be heard without judgement and where your experiences truly matter. I work with teens and adults, especially those who are healing from trauma or going through difficult life changes. Together, we'll explore what's getting in the way of how you want to feel and find practical tools to help you cope in the moment, while also working through deeper patterns that may be holding you back. I believe therapy isn't about fixing you, it's about helping you discover your own strengths, heal from the past, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, so I want you to know what the process looks like when we work together. Our first meeting is about getting to know you. We will talk about what brought you in, your goals, and what you'd like to change or explore. It's also a chance for you to ask questions and see if my approach feels like a good fit. Building safety and trust, especially when working with trauma or big life challenged, feeling safe and supported is the foundation. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable, and ill provide tools you can use right away to mange stress and emotions. Exploring patterns and healing, together we will look at how past experiences may be influencing your present, while also finding healthier ways to cope. For adolescents, this might include helping them express emotions, strengthen self-esteem, and improve communication. For adults, it may mean processing through trauma, building resilience, and creating healthier relationships. Growth and moving forward. Over time, you'll notice shifts in how you respond to challenges. My goal is to help you not only heal from the past but also feel more confident, balanced, and empowered in your daily life. Therapy is a collaborative journey. We will work together to shape it around your needs and goals.
