What should a new client know about working with you?

Most clients will find that they have a sense of direction after the very first session. Your therapy will be dynamic and engaged from the very start. You will receive active feedback, encouragement, support and guidance throughout our work together. You will have the opportunity to learn a variety of skills to utilize to solve your problems, create change, and cultivate your best life experiences.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We will being with an initial telephone consultation during which the initial intake will be completed. This will help me get an idea about your needs and concerns as well as help us figure out if we are a good match to work together. You will be asked to complete two documents prior to the telephone consultation. These will be provided to you before the consultation is scheduled. After the telephone consultation we will decide whether it makes sense to continue with scheduling the first therapy session. Most clients find that they have formulated some beneficial goals and a sense of direction at the conclusion the telephone consultation.

I am in network with Aetna, Anthem and United Healthcare (UMR, All Savers). I you use insurance you will pay the difference between the contract rate (Usual and Customary based on market rates) and the insurance reimbursement for that service. You will always know in advance of a session what your financial responsibility will be.
