Hello, I'm Terrica. In life, there are “good” days and “today could have been better” days. We face challenges every day. Sometimes we breeze through the challenges, but there are days when the challenges appear to breeze through us, knocking us down. This is when we need to reach out. Counseling serves as that hand to help you up when life’s challenges are weighing you down. I chose the counseling profession because of my desire to be that hand for those individuals who are struggling with life’s challenges. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree and over 10 years of experience working with adults, children, and adolescents. My specialties include stress Maleagement, spiritual care, anger Maleagement, behavior modification, career transition, educational and vocational counseling, and more. Additionally, I have expertise in family relationships, grief and bereavement, intimate and roMaletic relationships, life transitions, multicultural and diversity issues, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, children's mental/behavioral health, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and perinatal support including pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum care. My methodology is both person-centered and holistic. It is my belief that understanding my client as a person is essential to helping them resolve any problems that may exist. With understanding and a relaxed, nonjudgmental environment, I assist my clients in their efforts to improve their quality of life. I offer my clients the patience, compassion, and understanding they need to achieve a healthy balance in life. I believe that with the right therapeutic approach my clients will achieve the best results and live their best lives.
