My name is Terrini Woods, and I am SO excited you chose me to share in your betterment journey. I have a HUGE passion for helping those ready to live life differently and healthier. I also have an equally strong passion for supporting couples-whether beginning or in marriage-to improve communication skills, address family roles, and develop healthy ways to handle conflict resolution. I have also helped couples amicably create paths to divorce. My approach to mental wellness is grounded in genuine care for helping others. I strongly believe in the power of prayer, psychoeducation, and mental health awareness to foster holistic healing and well-being. By combining these elements, I aim to provide a nurturing and compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, enabling greater self-awareness and personal growth. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University. In my practice, I use a diverse range of therapeutic modalities tailored to your unique needs. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Humanistic Approach, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy. Telling me to Breath, reassuring me that some of my thoughts and feelings are normal. Listening to me and asking the questions that came to your mind allowed me to relax. I was able to focus on the conversation NOT what you may be thinking of me.
