Hi there, I'm Tessa! Feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or like you’re carrying more than you know how to process? You’re not alone. I help adults navigate trauma, difficult relationships, anxiety, self-doubt, and emotional challenges with curiosity and compassion. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, connected to yourself, and better able to navigate life. My focus I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, difficult relationships, low self-esteem, and life experiences that have left them feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. I especially enjoy working with clients who want to better understand themselves, develop healthier ways of coping, and feel more connected to themselves and My approach I use a trauma-informed, collaborative approach that helps you better understand your emotions, patterns, and nervous system responses. I draw from IFS-informed parts work, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, and emotion-focused therapy to support greater self-awareness, regulation, and connection. Together, we’ll find what works for you and your goals. My communication style I strive to create a warm, accepting space where you can be open and honest without fear of judgment. I’ll listen with curiosity and compassion, while helping you slow down and explore what you’re experiencing. When difficult emotions come up, you can expect me to be calm, patient, and present with you as we work through them together. My journey to mental healthcare My journey into therapy began with a desire to help people create meaningful change in their lives. I started my career providing behavioral therapy to children with autism while pursuing degrees in psychology and additional counseling coursework. My own experience with trauma therapy broadened the way I understood healing and led me toward deeper.
