Getting to know Tessa Rasch
Hi, I'm Tessa. I have been in the practice of clinical social work for almost 40 years, beginning in Miami, Florida, during the time the State Hospitals were being closed. That was when I developed a passion for helping folks with challenging issues, and have remained active in behavioral healthcare since. I believe therapy can be a "spiritual" journey; a search for meaning, purpose, and connection to something larger than oneself; yet at the same time, a personal journey of self discovery and finding what brings meaning and fulfillment to you. This could be through the practice of different types of therapy that can be dynamic or behavioral in approach, depending on what is relevant to you. When you leave your session, I want you to feel better, even when you are doing the hard work.
