Hello, my name is Thea Cristwell-Butler, and I am a licensed professional counselor with a Master's in Counseling from Webster University and a Bachelor's degree from Florida International University. As a mental health professional, I strive to maintain a judgment-free space-a space that is challenging but comforting, and a process that is both enlightening and retrospective. We will work at your pace as you go through your healing journey. I believe in collaborating with my clients, viewing you as the expert in your own life. What should a new client know about working with you?

I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for my clients to process, heal, and grow. I utilize clients' strengths and their core values to help encourage, challenge, and celebrate their growth and success in their mental health process.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I complete a thorough psychosocial with the client, create a treatment plan collaboratively with the client, and use a variety a treatment approaches that best suits the client's needs. I use approaches like, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness based, trauma based therapy, solution-focused, narrative therapy, and more.

I see patients through UpLift. When you create your profile, you will input your insurance information and the team will reach out with your copay amount. If you do not have insurance, I also take cash pay clients. The UpLift team will work directly with you to inform you of payments due. The prices for visits are dependent on your co-pay amount through your insurance. If you are a cash-pay client, our price ranges from $75 to $145 per visit
