My focus I work with all ages dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and loss of functioning/Independence. My goal is to walk with you down your therapeutic path, wherever that may take us. I can assist in changing unhelpful thought patterns, reducing harmful behaviors, building distress tolerance, and finding acceptance. My communication style I cultivate a respectful, empathetic, non-judgemental safe space for people to share and be vulnerable. I am down-to-earth, direct, but gentle with feedback, while also meeting a person where they are at on any given day. My journey to mental healthcare My journey to becoming a therapist is based on my own familial and childhood experiences and wanting to better understand how this history can shape who you become, as well as how you can heal and grow from your past into a new, secure, healthier present. My goals for you Goals come from you, the individual. Together, we will explore your history, current concerns, and what ultimately brought you to therapy in order to identify how you wish to grow and achieve your goals.
