As a therapist, I'm driven by the unwavering belief that every individual possesses the innate power to transform their lives. Through my journey of understanding and connecting with people, I've come to realize the profound need for support and encouragement on the path from pain to lasting happiness. Being a therapist is not just a career; it's a profound calling. I consider myself fortunate to have the privilege of sitting with individuals during their darkest moments and witnessing the incredible transformations they undergo. My philosophy is rooted in the importance of mental health education, helping individuals comprehend how their symptoms affect their mind, body, and actions. I strive to create a safe and nurturing space where people can freely express themselves and feel genuinely understood. Recognizing that each person is unique, I tailor my therapeutic approach to their specific needs. I embrace the understanding that healing and happiness are achieved at one's own pace. My role as a therapist extends beyond problem-solving; I guide individuals to develop deep insights into their challenges, construct effective solutions, and contemplate ways to prevent recurrences. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling from Walden University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support my clients effectively. Ultimately, my work is fulfilled when my patients believe they've become the best version of themselves and are living up to their fullest potential. It is my privilege to facilitate this journey toward self-realization and empowerment.
