Hi, I am Theresa Gizze, LMHC. I am a wife, mother, and licensed mental health counselor with a Master's in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I have been in the mental health field for over 12 years, and I love what I do! I have experience working with children, teens, and adults. If you are looking for an authentic, caring therapist to help you with anxiety, depression, ADHD, parent/child conflict, or life challenges, you are in the right place. My goal is to create a safe space for you to be yourself, feel understood, and reach your goals. I love to work with clients who are motivated to achieve their highest potential. I believe building rapport and having a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients is the most important aspect of effective therapy. I look forward to meeting with you!

What should a new client know about working with you?

As a therapist I am here to guide you in becoming the best version of yourself. I believe you know you better than anyone and I am here to guide and support you on your journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session you can expect to be treated with kindness and respect. You will be telling me what has been going on for you and we will create the goals to get you where you would like to be. You can expect to take away practical skills and a sense of heading in the right direction. I look forward to meeting with you!!!
