Getting to know Theresa Ipolito
Originally from New York, I landed in Utah after years of dedication to environmental and social justice work globally. I have worked extensively with adolescents, young adults, and families in experiential and recreational therapy.
I specialize in life transitions and development of self, and works with a wide array of unique clientele experiencing issues including, but not limited to: anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, disordered eating, body image issues, sexual health and fulfillment, attachment issues, oppositional defiant disorder, family and relationship dynamics, and chronic stress, pain, and illness.
Please note: I am accepting new patients for ongoing therapy sessions. I do not provide medication management support.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I have an eclectic therapeutic style using holistic and integrative approaches to healing. I work collaboratively with my clients to recognize strengths, make meaningful changes, and show up authentically in their lives. I believe that challenge is vital to change, and view myself as a guide for my clients who are navigating new and difficult terrain.

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health (formerly Numinus) containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment.
You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($292).
During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
