Hi, my name is Theresa Matich, and I am a licensed clinical social worker (#79930) with a Master's in Social Work from California State University, San Bernardino. I have been providing mental health services for nine years. My approach to therapy is creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental atmosphere where clients can share what has been troubling them most.
My approach
I work with clients to find balance through the middle path and help them adopt perspectives that reduce suffering. I use CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, strengths perspective, and motivational interviewing during sessions.

I have experience supporting individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, substance use, interpersonal relationships, and coping difficulties.

In our first session, I will review informed consent and the limits of confidentiality. Then, I will create a space for you to share what brought you in and what you hope to achieve. Together, we will develop a treatment plan that feels comfortable and effective for you.
