Getting to know Theresa Ridley

Theresa Ridley is a Licensed Psychotherapist who has been practicing since 2005. I am a 1995 graduate of Howard University with a Master’s in Social Work. I have had extensive experience and success providing psychotherapy services to individuals and families from both a Christian and a wholistic perspective.

What should a new client know about working with you?

We often times experience trauma or severe life stressors and at times it is not uncommon for our lives to begin to unravel right before our vary eyes. My greatest and deepest passion is in helping others to heal in a healthy manner. In this process of helping clients to heal I extend my counseling skill set myself to adults, children and families. In order to heal we must all strive towards strengthening ourselves as well as our relationships. It is my belief that we can accomplished healing through inner peace and knowing that you are a overcomer. I realize that no single approach works for everyone . I offer the following modalities : Christian Focus Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Integrative or Holistic Therapy , Behavioral Therapy , Grief and Trauma Based Therapy.

Very misleading. I made an in person appointment two days in advance. I pre filled all my forms and everything. I showed up to an office building that had no bell, no directory outside and no one answered the phone. The number actually directed me to a whole other business. After banging for some time a man answered the door and allowed me to go to the suite that was text to me…no one answered that door either. It was extremely creepy and uncomfortable as he was the only person there… DON’T Waste your time booking—988 has better service than this
