What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you are heard, respected, and supported. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine partnership, we’ll explore your concerns together at a pace that feels right for you. My approach is person-centered, meaning I’ll always meet you where you are, honoring your values, goals, and unique life experiences. I blend evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing to help you build insight, manage difficult emotions, and create meaningful change. Whether you’re looking to process the past, manage current stressors, or build healthier relationships, we’ll work together to develop tools and strategies that fit you. Above all, therapy with me is a space where you can show up as your full self, no pressure, no judgment, just honest support and a commitment to your growth.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first few sessions, I’ll spend time getting to know you, your background, what’s bringing you to therapy, and what you’d like to get out of our work together. We’ll collaboratively identify goals and begin exploring patterns, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be impacting your well-being. A typical session is a mix of reflection, insight-building, and practical skill development. I may offer tools from approaches like CBT, ACT, and mindfulness to help you manage distress, improve emotional regulation, and build resilience. I’ll also encourage open, honest conversations, therapy is your space, and your voice matters. Throughout our work, I check in regularly to make sure the process feels helpful and aligned with your needs. My goal is to support you in making meaningful progress, at a pace that feels manageable and empowering.
