Hello, I'm Tom. I approach each client in a warm, casual, and accepting manner. My goal is to truly understand your unique needs and challenges, and together, we'll work on strategies that best address your concerns. I believe in helping you rediscover your core strengths and skills that may have been blocked by emotional conflicts, anxieties, or depression. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 25 years of experience, I've worked in various areas of mental health, including psychiatric and substance abuse counseling in a hospital setting, EAP (Employee Assistance Program), life and career coaching, and individual counseling in a private office. I also have considerable experience in tele-health (video-based) counseling. I primarily see adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and those who need direction in terms of career path, self-awareness, and growth. My specializations include trauma, family relationships, life transitions, multicultural/diversity issues, narcissistic personality disorder, intimate/romantic relationships, spirituality, stress, anger management, sex/intimacy issues, and somatic symptom disorder.
