What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting on this process can be scary or exhausting but know it can also be empowering and life changing. If you're seeking a therapist who is warm, affirming, and committed to your well-being, I invite you to reach out. Together, we'll navigate the winds of change and discover the path to healing and self-discovery.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Many of my clients have initially voiced looking for help but were unsure of what therapy looks like or would do for them. As we begin working together, we'll take time discussing what led you to therapy, processing any previous experiences or expectations, and come up with a game plan for addressing your concerns. My approach has been described as warm, collaborative, and empowering. I approach therapy with a culturally sensitive and intersectional lens. I recognize, acknowledge, and respect each aspect of the authentic you. Your journey may involve non-traditional approaches that incorporate what brings you joy— maybe it's creative arts, video games, TTRPGs, anime, etc. Together, we'll explore and find strategies that resonate with you.
