Getting to know Thomas Stiller

Are you feeling overwhelmed by loss, unable to cope with life’s challenges, and/or often questioning whether you are making it in the rat race of life? Using a relational and psychodynamic approach, I work with young adults who want to quiet their minds, feel more secure in their relationships—both at work and at home—and build a stronger, more confident sense of self.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I support adults navigating anxiety, grief and loss, adverse life experiences, and difficult life transitions. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices that help you understand your patterns, process emotions, and reduce feelings of guilt and self-blame. Together, we’ll also develop practical problem-solving tools so you can make choices that align with your values.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I take a critical and contextual approach to therapy, recognizing how systemic, economic, and social pressures contribute to mental distress. This includes exploring the impact of productivity-driven self-worth and working to reduce anxiety, burnout, and shame. If you’re ready to build self-compassion and move toward becoming the person you want to be, I invite you to reach out and schedule a session to see if we’re a good fit.
