I am a licensed professional clinical counselor with about 7 years of experience helping people renew their life, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. I hold a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, and both a master's degree in Human Development, Family Studies, and Related Services and a bachelor's degree from Ohio State University.This extensive education, spanning over 12 years, provides me with a solid foundation in Mental Health Counseling, Human Development, and Family Science studies. It has helped me understand the needs of individuals throughout their lifespan, and I am comfortable working with various ages. I am confident that I have either the education or personal experiences-through working with clients similar to your needs or through my own growth and lessons learned as a parent of three-to support and advocate for clients, helping them function better in every area of life. Whether a person or family needs help overcoming depression, reducing anxiety, improving decision-making, budgeting, communication skills, stress management, strengthening social life, or managing lifestyle changes (from divorce and relationship strains to school changes, parenting struggles, or health issues), my mission is to provide hope, help, and healing. Much of my work involves helping people see situations in new ways so they feel prepared to handle challenges. I enjoy working with older children, middle school students, teenagers, young adults, and college-aged individuals. I have a passion for building hope for the future and renewing clients' perspectives about their lives. I aim to find optimism even in the most challenging situations and seasons of life.
