What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide a counseling experience that is open-minded and offers a safe space for you to explore your challenges. My approach is rooted in empathy, ensuring that I understand your experiences and prioritize your needs. Together, we will identify your struggles and set achievable goals, working towards positive change. I utilize evidence-based techniques to help you manage your difficulties and develop effective coping skills. My ultimate goal is to support you in navigating your challenges, fostering self-understanding, and empowering you to make meaningful changes in your life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

At the beginning of our work together, all clients, including parents seeking counseling for their child, will have an intake appointment. The intake appointment is our initial meeting, where we gather important information about you, your background, and the issues you're facing. This helps me gain a comprehensive understanding of your situation and allows us to establish goals for our work together. Each subsequent session typically lasts about 50-55 minutes. During this time, the focus is entirely on you and your needs. In our sessions, we will explore the concerns you're facing and work together to develop effective strategies to address them. We will engage in open and honest conversations, where I actively listen to you, ask questions, and provide empathetic support. I will also use therapeutic techniques and approaches that are best suited to your specific needs and circumstances.
