Hello! I'm Tiffany, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in K-12 school counseling, chemical dependency, and trauma-related work. My journey as a clinician has nurtured a deep passion for working with parents and children, helping them navigate life's challenges to achieve their fullest potential.
In my practice, I believe in meeting people where they are. This means understanding your unique circumstances and working together to identify blind spots and remove roadblocks. I emphasize the importance of maintaining both boundaries and connections with our children, and I strongly advocate for the development of self-regulation skills as a cornerstone of mental health and wellness.
I am a registered play therapist (RPT) and certified in AutPlay, a strengths-based approach tailored to neurodivergent children and adults. My therapeutic toolkit includes Gestalt Play Therapy, EMDR, AutPlay Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Seeking Safety. These modalities allow me to offer a comprehensive and personalized approach to meet each client's needs.
I specialize in a wide range of areas including anxiety, ADHD, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, depression, stress, suicidal ideation and self-harming behaviors, trauma, addiction, children's mental/behavioral health, PTSD, LGBTQIA+ support, anger management, and autism spectrum support.
