Getting to know Tiffany Lovelady Wells

It was during my years in high school that I discovered my gift of counseling. Genuinely interested in the well-being of others, I found myself as a sounding board among my peers. While most might shy away from the pressures of such responsibilities, I embraced it! Upon graduation from high school, my longing to be of service led me to pursue a BA in Psychology followed by an MA in Counselor Education at Mississippi State University. In August 1999, I began a career as a professional school counselor. For over a decade, I dedicated myself wholeheartedly to enriching the lives of students within the Jackson, Madison and Hinds school districts. As I grew within my profession, my desire to expand my expertise led to my position as Assistant Vice President of Lovelady Enterprises, Inc. There, I spent several years providing counseling services of varying degrees for a vast population of the community, assessed clients to determine appropriate mental health needs and consulted with mental health and medical health professionals to determine the best course of treatment. My belief is that clients have the ability to determine what their individual needs are and it is my job to help with achieving their goals.
