"When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." Sometimes gathering the other ingredients (pitcher, spoon, sugar, water) needed to make lemonade can be difficult. I am here to assist you with gathering those ingredients to make the best batch of lemonade for you. I am here to help you live your best life and become the best version of you! I am a licensed clinical professional counselor from Chicago, Illinois, with clinical licenses in both Illinois and Georgia. I hold a bachelor's degree from Northern Illinois University, and both a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and an EdD in Counselor Education and Supervision from National Louis University. I have years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, groups, and families in several settings. My clients have presented with a variety of issues and concerns such as anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, abuse and neglect, school issues, family issues, job-related problems, and more. My treatment approach is strength-based, collaborative, trauma-sensitive, and supportive. I utilize CBT, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused techniques. My goal is to provide an open, nonjudgmental, and safe environment for all my clients. So, congrats on taking the first step toward bettering you or your child/teen. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
