I believe I am well-suited for the Counseling and Psychology field, as both my educational background and personal experiences have strengthened my ability to provide compassionate and effective support to others. I am deeply passionate about helping individuals navigate challenges and improve their well-being, and I am committed to making a positive impact through meaningful client care. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from DePaul University and my Master’s degree in Clinical Professional Psychology from Roosevelt University, which provided me with a strong foundation in psychological principles, counseling techniques, and client-centered care. I am confident that my dedication, empathy, and professional training would allow me to contribute positively to both clients and the organization I serve.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Hello, and welcome. My name is Tiffany Sanchez, and I am a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, teens, adults, and families through a variety of life challenges. My background includes extensive work in both community mental health and inpatient psychiatric settings, allowing me to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, family conflict, self-esteem struggles, addiction, and major life transitions. I believe mental health is not about “arriving” at perfection, but about learning how to navigate life with greater confidence, self-awareness, and resilience. As your therapist, my goal is to help you regain a sense of control, reconnect with your strengths, and feel empowered to move forward with clarity and purpose. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from DePaul University and my Master’s Degree in Clinical Professional Psychology from Roosevelt University. In addition to private practice work, I have an extensive history working in inpatient psychiatric hospital settings, where I have supported individuals experiencing acute mental health challenges. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I utilize evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy to help clients process difficult emotions, improve coping skills, strengthen relationships, and develop healthier patterns of thinking and behavior. I also bring extensive experience working with self-harming behaviors, emotional dysregulation, cultural assimilation challenges, trauma-related concerns, and family dynamics. I pride myself on creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe that meaningful therapy begins with building a genuine connection and truly getting to know each client’s unique story. During the first few sessions, individuals, couples, and families are given a safe, supportive space to share what has brought them to therapy, discuss personal and medical history, explore any previous diagnoses, and identify what they hope to gain from the therapeutic process. My approach is collaborative and personalized, recognizing that no two people or situations are the same. Together, we work to create both short-term and long-term goals that align with your individual needs, strengths, and desired outcomes. While goal setting often develops naturally within the first several sessions, I also understand that some situations require more immediate support and stabilization, and I tailor treatment accordingly when urgent concerns are present. I strive to make therapy both practical and empowering by encouraging growth beyond the therapy session itself. To help maintain progress and build momentum, I often provide therapeutic exercises, coping strategies, and reflective assignments that clients can incorporate into daily life. My goal is to help clients not only feel supported during sessions, but also gain the tools, insight, and confidence needed to create lasting change outside of therapy.

Tiffany is the exact type of therapist I've been looking for- I've seen a number of different therapists over the last several years and none of them really seemed to connect with me or get me to the place I've wanted to be- Tiffany is breaking the mold, she is pushing me to be a better, stronger, more confident person and even though we are only a handful of appointments together, I know she is different and I'm expecting incredible things out of what she can help me with moving forward.
Great provider that truly shows compassion throughout the entire visit. She makes something that can be uncomfortable feel easy and natural.
Both my son and I have personally worked with Tiffany Sanchez. She has worked diligently (any many times after sessions) to make sure we achieve optimum mental health. My family would not be in the shape we are in if it wasn't for the work of Mrs. Sanchez. I for one am very thankful for her.
Tiffany is very respectful and I felt she helped me fix my ways of self affirmation. I look at the glass half full now vs half empty. I also have tools to use when I am challenged with difficult emotions and every visit is progressive.
Tiffany has been extremely helpful to me in our sessions. She is transparent with what the treatment entails, she is honest, and extremely supportive with my care. Tiffany has been very professional with her work, and she takes her job very seriously. She is a very good listener! The willingness to spend time with her clients is very endearing. I could only say great things about Tiffany and I would highly recommend her services! She truly is a wonderful therapist!
Tiffany is a true professional! She has helped me dealing with my personal issues and is very knowledgeable in many areas. She has been on time and has provided me with a great deal of support to help me navigate areas of my life. She is personable and relates very well to me. I am glad that I found a therapist that is good for me.
Tiffany is great. She's an active and effective communicator and I felt like my issues are not only truly heard, but she works with me to create realistic solutions and steps to help me achieve my goals.

Therapy was very foreign to me and Tiffany has made it so easy to navigate through the process. I truly feel I can open up to her. She is compassionate, she listens intently, and she offers thoughtful suggestions and solutions. Highly recommend!
Tiffany made me feel validated for the first time in my life. She listened to me and provided helpful insight and suggestions. The office made me feel welcomed and comfortable.
Tiffany went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and heard in our sessions. She offered a listening ear and supportive advice and insight regarding my struggles. I never once felt judged or misunderstood and it is clear that she takes the time and effort to get to know and understand her patients. The whole office is very welcoming and calming. I know the struggle of looking for a good therapist and I am so grateful to have found Tiffany. Highly recommend!
Tiffany was great. Very welcoming and caring. She listened to all of my concerns, and allowed me to speak freely without feeling uncomfortable. I will definitely revisit and make future appointments.
