My name is Tiffany Triplett, and I am a licensed social worker with a Master's degree in Social Work from Marshall University. I have three years of experience working in various settings and with multiple populations. I'm passionate about helping others take control of their lives. I am currently pursuing my clinical independent license and my alcohol and drug counselor certification. I have experience working with all age groups, with an emphasis on teens and adults. My work includes supporting individuals affected by depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, couples therapy, domestic violence, substance misuse, PTSD, self-esteem issues, and other life stressors.
I assist my clients in developing treatment plans that meet their needs and identify goals they would like to achieve. I have experience using CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing. Therapy is different for each client, and I individualize each session to meet their unique needs. I understand that sharing your story with someone new is often difficult. This is why I strive to make each client feel comfortable through an inviting environment, positive encouragement, and open, honest communication. She currently is a director of a Psychiatric Program in additional to her therapist position. She has provided therapy in multiple settings including the school, community, and a hospital setting. Tiffany is a certified therapy dog handler.
Tiffany utilizes CBT, DBT and insight-oriented therapy skills. Tiffany schedules evening sessions for ages 18 and up. Tiffany’s main area of focus are mood disorders, depression, anxiety, Bi-polar disorder, BPD and substance misuse.
