Getting to know Tiffany Yelvington
Im a licensed therapist who helps individuals heal from anxious attachment, trauma, and relationship challenges so they can build deeper selftrust and healthier connections. I work with clients who often feel stuck in cycles of peoplepleasing, selfdoubt, or emotional overwhelm, and I guide them toward selfawareness, confidence, and alignment with their authentic selves.
My approach is warm and empowering, and I integrate evidencebased practices like EMDR to help clients process past experiences, set boundaries, and develop a secure sense of self. My goal is to help you break free from patterns that no longer serve you and create a life that feels grounded, balanced, and fulfilling.
In our work together, you'll learn to move from survival mode to self acceptance, finding clarity and peace as you step into your power.
For our first session we will go over my practice policies and confidentiality to start. Then we will jump into what brings you to therapy. I do not have an overly clinical approach to intake sessions so it usually flows from present concerns and history/background to help me get the full picture. Sometimes first sessions are all history and sometimes it is jumping right in to what you are going through. My goal is to meet you where you are from the very first session.

I have my own lived experiences and believe we are always a work in progress but we can break from the impact of trauma. I am a real person who brings my real personality and experiences into session when appropriate.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
