I believe therapy works best when clients feel understood, respected, and able to show up as themselves. My approach is collaborative, practical, and individualized, with a focus on helping clients better understand their patterns, build effective coping skills, and create meaningful change. I have experience working with adults facing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism spectrum concerns, relationship challenges, mood disorders, PTSD, and other complex mental health needs. I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent adults, including individuals who may have been diagnosed with ADHD or autism later in life and are learning how those experiences have shaped their relationships, identity, and emotional well-being. My clinical approach draws from evidence-based methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and person-centered therapy. I also have experience supporting individuals with substance use and co-occurring concerns. I work to create a space that feels genuine and conversational while still focused on your goals. Therapy does not have to feel overly formal or judgmental. Together, we can identify what is getting in the way, explore what is working, and develop practical strategies that fit your life. I provide both telehealth and in-person therapy and welcome adults from diverse backgrounds who are looking for a therapist who is approachable, curious, and committed to helping them move forward.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My therapy style is collaborative, conversational, and practical. I want clients to feel comfortable being themselves rather than feeling like they have to “perform” in therapy. I try to create a space that is open, respectful, and judgment-free while still keeping our work focused on the changes you want to make. I often work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism spectrum concerns, relationship difficulties, and other complex life challenges. I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent adults, including people who may be understanding ADHD or autism later in life and exploring how it has affected their relationships, stress, self-esteem, or sense of identity. My approach may include CBT, DBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and person-centered therapy. I do not believe in using the exact same approach with every client. We will look at what is happening in your life, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop strategies that make sense for you. During your first visit, you can expect us to talk about what brings you to therapy, what you would like to be different, and what has or has not worked for you in the past. My goal is for therapy to feel genuine, useful, and tailored to you.
