Timothy Griffith, LCSW-C is a licensed clinical social worker. He has a wide range of experience in the delivery and administration of human services, including social services, behavioral health, aging and disabilities, public health, and juvenile justice. He received his Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and he has also completed a variety of post-master’s clinical social work courses, as well as a certificate in substance use counseling.
Mr. Griffith’s most recent clinical work has focused primarily on adults and seniors with serious mental illnesses, many of whom also have substance use or medical concerns.
Mr. Griffith is also experienced in working with youth in their late teens.
Areas of professional interest include working with individuals who experience depression and other mood issues, anxiety, stress, trauma, substance use, grief and loss, anger management, physical health concerns, communication and relationship issues, and thinking and perceptual concerns. He uses an array of approaches, especially CBT, Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, and Psychoeducation
