What should a new client know about working with you?

The first appointment will involve a review of personal history, including family dynamics, childhood experiences, relationships, and any significant life events as well as explore the reasons you sought therapy and the specific symptoms and challenges you are facing. Recommendations for care will be provided and together you’ll begin to develop a plan to achieve your goals and achieve symptom relief. Relief Mental Health is an outpatient provider of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), psychedelic therapy (SPRAVATO® and IV Ketamine), psychiatric medication management, and talk therapy for the treatment of depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder and other mental health diagnoses. While our expertise is broad, there are certain mental health conditions and diagnoses that fall outside our scope of practice. Your initial appointment will be considered an intake appointment and will not guarantee a continued patient-provider relationship.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

If we do not receive your insurance information at least 24 hours prior to your appointment, we will collect a $100.00 deposit at the time of service and verify benefits after your appointment has taken place. This deposit will be applied towards any out-of-pocket costs for services, including copays, coinsurances, deductibles, or the full cash rate if we are out-of-network or unable to verify your insurance benefits. Once benefits are verified, any outstanding balance will be charged to the credit card on file and any overpayment can be refunded or applied to future visits. Our providers’ profiles list which insurances they accept, but patients are still encouraged to contact their insurance company for specific coverage details. Most of our providers are in-network with a variety of commercial PPO policies and Medicare, but are out-of-network with commercial HMO policies, Medicaid and other government-funded health insurance providers.
