Hello, I'm Tina. It's a known fact that we are always our own worst critic. I like to help people see themselves in the light that others see them in. I believe that each client is the driver of their car, and I am the navigator that attempts to keep everyone out of the ditches. I am not the expert of your life; that is your role. I have worked for many years helping others, whether it is mental health or substance use disorders. I work with individuals and couples from a trauma-informed, client-centric approach. Therapy is not easy, but through collaboration and support, it can be so beneficial. I am eclectic in my approach as everyone's goals and needs are not the same. I like to be strength-based and help you learn more about yourself. You do not have to be on this journey alone. I pride myself on being present and attentive for each of my clients. In my spare time (which is not a lot), I love to spend time with my family doing various activities and having fun. My favorite thing in life is to laugh, and I feel that this does not happen often enough for many people. I am very laid back, and I do not get upset about things when life happens. Therapy can be hard, like I said previously, but there should not be stress caused by your therapist, and I work hard to make sure that does not happen. If you are ready to make that step to break down the barriers in your life, feel free to reach out to me. I can't wait to help!
