Psychotherapist

Starting therapy can be overwhelming. I commend you for taking this step in your journey, and I'm here to support you along the way. I provide client-centered therapy and meet my clients where they are in life. I am non-judgmental and open-minded. Together, we will work collaboratively to identify your goals for therapy. Whether you need a safe place to process trauma, a space to vent with someone who listens and supports you, or guidance on navigating anxiety and depression, I can be that therapist for you. My approach Your therapy will be based on your strengths and needs. We will collaborate to create a plan that fits your personality and helps you achieve your goals. My focus I work best with women and adolescents who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, and who are neurodiverse. I also work with LGBTQ+ individuals, understanding the importance of nonjudgment and support within this community. My communication style I am open with my communication. My office is a space where you can speak your truth without fear of judgment. My journey to mental healthcare I earned my Master's in Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University. I started my career in 2008 as a caseworker for the Department of Children and Families in Florida. In 2012, I became a therapist working with at-risk youth in community settings. I truly enjoyed this experience, discovering my therapeutic style and using creative approaches to break through stigma and barriers to treatment. In 2014, I moved to Utah to continue my therapy career in residential treatment, working with children stuck in the foster care system who had significant trauma and multiple placements. Since 2018, I have been in private practice while continuing to work within residential treatment, providing supervision, consultation to therapists, and treatment to youth in care.
