Getting to know Toby Mautz
I am an experienced LCSW who has been working with clients for 28 years. This experience has allowed me to meet and work with thousands of clients throughout the country and world, expanding my understanding of the complexities and struggles that are part of the growth process. I've learned that through active engagement, demonstrating consistency, and applying effective techniques and tools, those I work with experience meaningful and sustainable growth. My experiences have taught me the power of change and what occurs when clients choose to actively engage in their lives and the process it takes to work through many of the hurdles we all face. Throughout my career, I have held multiple roles that have given me great insight into the treatment process. I have served as a clinician, clinical director, consultant, program owner, and CEO. I have extensive experience working with addiction, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and dual-diagnosis issues. My depth of experience allows me to effectively engage with and address clinically complex issues, providing positive outcomes. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Boston College, which has further strengthened my foundation and approach to client care.

Clients can expect to have a good connection and feel comfortable addressing what is going on with them. I've been successful in joining and meeting clients where they are and developing individualized and successful outcomes based on needs.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

A different type of therapy than what I've experienced in the past, much more solution oriented with practical advise. I find this much more effective than other methods I've received in the past. The focus is heavy on how to improve the situation, which is exactly what I need. My situation was intolerable, and receiving practical advise and methods to quickly improve my anxiety is invaluable.
