Todd Puckett, LPC

Psychotherapist
TX
Hi there! I'm Todd. Do you feel stuck in life? Frozen with indecision? Crushed by emotions you'd rather not have? I can help with that. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University and am a licensed expert in multiple areas of mental health. Still, I believe there is no greater expert about you than you. Therapy, to me, is a collaborative effort. Together, we will identify your concerns, explore what hasn't worked in the past and what has, and then add additional tools to create the best possible outcome. We will work with the mind, body, and spirit, striving to restore balance to all.

What should a new client know about working with you?

"Our first session will be where we identify both the problems and the goals. Then the work begins. Typically, the first several sessions are held weekly as we process what brings you in for therapy. The intensity of those concerns WILL lessen as the therapeutic process goes on. You will gain insight, skills, and confidence to help resolve your concerns. The ultimate goal of therapy is for it to end and for you to be in a better place. As the process continues, we will meet less frequently, and you will have the results that you desire. There is no definitive timeline for therapy and some issues may take longer to resolve than others, and other issues may come to light. WE get to make those calls as we go along. "

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
