Getting to know Tomiah Conley
Hello, I'm Tomiah. Specializing in various mood disorders, trauma, and addiction, I have more than a decade of experience working with individuals from 3 years to 73 years of age. My journey in the field of mental health has taken me through diverse settings, from colleges to community mental health, private practice, and inpatient rehabilitation facilities. I currently hold a dual Master's in Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from Ohio University and am in the process of completing a doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision. All of this has been achieved while being a single mother of four daughters, which I believe makes me living proof that recovery, overcoming, and finding the right people can take you from brokenness to wholeness. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor in the state of Ohio, I have been actively working in my community since 2014. My passion extends to Peer Recovery Supporters, and I am currently working to help develop a network of individuals who are on their own recovery journeys so that they may give back to others. In our sessions, you can expect a compassionate and supportive environment where we work together to navigate your challenges and celebrate your victories. Whether you're dealing with ADHD, anxiety, depression, or navigating life transitions, my goal is to empower you to find your path to healing and growth. Outside of my professional life, being a mother to my four daughters has taught me resilience and the importance of support systems, which I bring into my practice.
