What should a new client know about working with you?

FOR NEW PATIENTS: Please complete your consent forms ASAP As your therapist, my goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Therapy is a collaborative process — we’ll work together to identify your goals, develop insight, and build practical strategies for growth and healing. I believe in meeting clients where they are and tailoring treatment to fit your unique needs, preferences, and pace. Sessions may include exploring patterns, building coping skills, and fostering self-awareness and resilience. Progress in therapy takes time, honesty, and openness. You don’t have to have everything figured out — our work together is about discovery, understanding, and creating lasting change. Confidentiality, respect, and professionalism are at the core of my practice. I encourage open communication so that we can make this process as meaningful and effective as possible for you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. Here’s what you can typically expect when we begin working together: 1. Initial Consultation / Intake Session Our first session is focused on getting to know you — your background, concerns, and goals for therapy. I’ll also review policies, confidentiality, and answer any questions you may have about the process. 2. Goal Setting and Treatment Planning Together, we’ll identify what you’d like to work on and set achievable goals. This helps guide our sessions and ensures that therapy is meaningful and focused on your priorities. 3. Ongoing Therapy Sessions In our regular sessions, we’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, identify patterns, and build skills to help you navigate challenges. I integrate evidence-based approaches while adapting to your individual pace and comfort level. 4. Progress Review and Adjustment Throughout therapy, we’ll check in on your progress and make adjustments as needed. This ensures that our work continues to align with your goals and growth. 5. Transition and Closure When you feel ready, we’ll work on gradually concluding therapy, reviewing what you’ve learned, and identifying ways to maintain your progress outside of sessions. My goal is to provide a compassionate, empowering environment that supports your healing and personal growth every step of the way.

Don’t see your insurance?

It’s common for mental health providers to be out-of-network. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network coverage, so you may get partially reimbursed. Learn more

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $75 for 45 minutes
Ongoing session: $60 for 45 minutes
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront

More information on payments and coverage

We are happy to bill your insurance company as a courtesy. Please note that payment for services is ultimately the patient’s responsibility. We will submit a claim to your insurance provider after services are rendered. Once we receive payment from your insurance, we will apply it to your account. Any remaining balance not covered by insurance will be your responsibility. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee payment or coverage from your insurance company. If your insurer denies or only partially covers the claim, you will be responsible for the remaining amount. If you have questions about your coverage or payment options, our team is happy to assist you.
