I offer a person-centered, humanistic approach to therapy, focusing on self-compassion, self-care, and fostering supportive relationships. My expertise includes addiction recovery, trauma, and identity-related stress, particularly within the queer, polyamorous, and CNM communities. Using evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, I help clients navigate emotions, relationships, and life transitions. I believe in meeting clients where they are, respecting all recovery paths-including harm reduction and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). I hold a Master's in Counseling from Albertus Magnus College and a Bachelor's degree from Trinity College of Vermont. My goal is to provide an affirming space where you feel truly heard and supported while building the life you want.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy with me is a collaborative process. You are the expert in your own life, and I am here to guide and support you, not to dictate how you should heal. I show up authentically, with warmth, humor, and a deep respect for your lived experiences. My approach balances deep listening with practical strategies, so you leave each session with both insight and tools to navigate your challenges. I recognize that seeking therapy—especially if you've had invalidating experiences in the past—can feel vulnerable. Whether you're working through addiction, trauma, identity exploration, or relationship stress, I provide a safe, affirming space where you can show up as your full self. I value progress over perfection and will support you at a pace that feels right for you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session is about getting to know you—who you are, what you’re struggling with, and what you hope to get out of therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your history, experiences, and goals, but you are always in control of what you choose to share. Moving forward, sessions are tailored to your needs. We may explore patterns in your thoughts and behaviors, process difficult emotions, or develop coping strategies to help you navigate challenges. I use a mix of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches to provide practical tools while ensuring therapy remains a space for reflection and growth. Above all, therapy is a space for you. Some sessions will be solution-focused, while others may be about unpacking deeper struggles. No matter where you are in your journey, my goal is to meet you there with empathy, support, and a commitment to helping you move forward.
