Toni Zvorak, MSW, LCSW provides treatment to adults ages 18+ who struggle with anxiety, anger, and grief, as well as mood swings, sadness, self-harm, relationship issues, substance abuse, and self-sabotaging behaviors. She enjoys working with clients who have Borderline Personality Disorder, Trauma, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Grief, and Dual Diagnosis. She focuses on coaching clients on how to build new skills that help them restore confidence in themselves and mental balance within their lives. Toni has specialized training in DBT and has developed her therapeutic skills working as a Crisis Intervention Counselor, group therapy leader, and individual therapist over the past twenty-three years. She has conducted seminars to both professionals and the local community, detailing the value and effectiveness of this evidence-based therapy. Additionally, she recently expanded her area of expertise to include EMDR; this training provides her with additional techniques to quickly and non-intrusively treat clients who experience trauma from disturbing life experiences. Toni assisted in the creation and teaching of Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) for local law enforcement and dispatchers. She has led seminars to educate both professionals and the local community on suicide awareness and prevention. Toni earned both her undergraduate in psychology and her Master of Social Work from the University of Missouri St. Louis.
