Hi there, I'm Tony! I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Texas with almost 31 years of experience in the Behavioral Health field. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Over the years, I have worked as a therapist, diagnostic clinician, clinical manager, and adjunct professor of psychology for 15 years. Currently, I serve as the clinical manager of an adult behavioral health clinic, where I also provide clinical services. I bring years of knowledge and experience to my practice, collaborating with clients to solve challenges and barriers so they can progress and be the best they can be. I have worked with clients facing a wide range of challenges and severities. My approach I meet clients where they are in their lives and challenges. Sessions are very laid back, focusing on a conversation about what you would like to work on and any difficulties you are experiencing. While I have specific training in multiple therapy modalities, I primarily utilize cognitive behavioral therapy. Together, we will explore your current situation, challenges, and goals. I routinely provide psychoeducation, examine your thought processes and behavioral patterns, and work with you to achieve your goals. We will move at your pace and comfort level, but I may also challenge you to step outside your comfort zone if needed to help you succeed. My goal is to equip you with the tools and knowledge to become the most self-aware and successful version of yourself. My focus I have historically worked well with clients facing anxiety and other challenges that impede their ability to live life to their full potential. These clients benefit from collaborating with someone who has practical experience, education, training, and years of expertise to provide what they truly need to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.
