Hello, there! I'm Tonya.
Are you struggling with feelings of inadequacy, difficulty making everyday decisions, or coping with a loss?whether it be a person, career, marriage, or a traumatic event?
Clarity?we all want it?it's a fundamental human need, and together we can work toward gaining perspective and balance. My desire is to create a safe, non-judgmental, and inviting space for clarity, hope, and healing. I hold a Master's in Counseling from Amberton University, which equips me to support you on your journey toward well-being.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Seeking therapy can be scary but you're taking the first step towards clarity. The most important aspect of the therapeutic connection is building a warm, genuine, non-judgmental relationship. As your therapist, that is my goal. I believe when people sense that you genuinely care and respect them, they are more open to honestly sharing about themselves and participating in the process of change.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
