Hi there, I'm Tonya! I am Tonya Smith, a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and a Board-Certified Telemental Health Therapist. I have over 30 years of experience in the field of counseling and mental health. I hold a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree from Jackson State University, as well as a Doctorate Degree in Professional Counseling from Mississippi College. My approach I have worked in many professional settings: hospitals, clinics, schools, and juvenile/adult correctional facilities. My training includes Cognitive and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Aggression Replacement Training, and Complex Trauma in Children and Adolescents. My focus Throughout my career, I have served a diverse population, including children, adolescents, teenagers, adults, geriatric, and substance abuse populations. I have supported these groups within many different settings. My communication style I provide a caring environment in which you can identify and explore your current situation.
