What should a new client know about working with you?

From our first session, my goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and truly seen. I believe that you already hold the insight and strength needed to navigate your challenges—my role is to help you access and trust that inner wisdom. Together, we'll explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with curiosity and compassion, uncovering the solutions that already live within you. I don’t come into sessions with a rigid agenda; instead, I listen deeply and guide our work based on what feels most important to you. You can expect a collaborative, supportive process where you’re encouraged to be your authentic self. Growth takes time, but you won’t be doing it alone—I’ll be right there with you, every step of the way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with building a strong foundation of trust and understanding. In our first few sessions, I focus on getting to know you—your history, current concerns, goals, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. This initial phase helps me gain a holistic view of your experiences and sets the direction for our work together. A typical session is conversational and collaborative. You guide the focus, and I help you explore your thoughts and emotions while gently challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I approach each session with curiosity and empathy, always aiming to help you connect more deeply with your own insight and strengths. My goal is not to give you advice or quick fixes, but to support you in uncovering your own solutions and building the tools you need for lasting change. Over time, we’ll regularly check in on your progress and adjust our work as needed. Whether you’re coming in with a specific issue or just feeling stuck, I aim to make each session a meaningful step forward.

More information on payments and coverage

I strive to make the financial aspect of therapy as straightforward as possible. I offer a standard session fee, which will be discussed with you prior to our first appointment. Payment is due at the time of each session and can be made by credit card, debit card, or other electronic payment methods. I am currently in-network with the following insurance providers UHC, Anthem, Carelon, Cigna, Aetna, Quest, BCBS of MA, BCBS of TX, Oxford, Oscar, Horizon BCBS of NJ, Medicare, Medicaid, and I can provide a superbill for clients who wish to seek reimbursement through their insurance. If you're unsure about your mental health benefits, I encourage you to contact your provider to ask about your coverage for outpatient therapy services, including information on deductibles, co-pays, and session limits. I also reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients experiencing financial hardship. Please feel free to ask if this might be helpful to you. Your well-being is my priority, and I’m happy to discuss any questions or concerns you may have about payment options.
