Psychotherapist
NC
Hi, I'm Tracey Babb-Morman, and I'm glad you're here. Reaching out for therapy takes courage, especially when you've been carrying the weight of stress, anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, or life transitions on your own. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and genuinely heard. With more than 20 years of experience in the counseling field, I've had the privilege of helping adults navigate anxiety, trauma, grief, burnout, women's mental health, relationship concerns, and major life changes. I have a special passion for working with helping professionals, caregivers, parents, and women navigating the unique emotional and physical changes of midlife and perimenopause. I believe therapy should be collaborative and tailored to you. Together, we'll identify what's keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that help you feel more confident, resilient, and connected to the life you want. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based therapy, and mindfulness, adapting each session to meet your unique needs. Clients often describe me as warm, compassionate, and easy to talk to. I balance empathy with thoughtful guidance, creating an environment where you can explore difficult experiences while feeling encouraged and empowered. Whether you're beginning therapy for the first time or returning after a break, you don't have to navigate this season alone. I look forward to partnering with you as you work toward healing, growth, and lasting change.
