Hi there, I'm Tracie! I'm glad you are here. Making the decision to enter or return to counseling requires courage: you are already moving in a healthy direction. I look forward to partnering with you for support, growth, and meeting your goals for counseling. My approach You will find me to be kind, compassionate, and supportive while working towards your treatment goals. My lens and approach stem from my Christian values, based on the Bible. My focus We will work to build trust and safety in session, so you can engage and see benefits and growth come from the time you are investing in therapy. My communication style I am kind, compassionate, and transparent. I am responsive to your presentation and needs at the time of our session. My journey to mental healthcare Since childhood, I have cared about others, especially people who are hurting or struggling. I am thankful for God's calling and provision for my journey and each opportunity to support and care for others. I look forward to meeting with you! My goals for you Transparency and care mean that though the content being discussed may be painful or difficult, we will have steps to take, and 'homework' provided to help reinforce growth areas. My first session with you At your first session, I'll look forward to learning about you and hearing your goals for therapy and any needs or preferences for our time together. There may be forms/paperwork needed. We'll talk about preliminary homework and some scaling questions to help guide treatment planning. I offer to end sessions with prayer. We can also schedule the next session at that time.
