Dr. Tracie H. is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Brigham Young University and her PhD in Clinical Social Work from the University of Southern California. Tracie has extensive experience in outpatient, inpatient, in-home, and residential behavioral health settings. She has also taught across the spectrum of social work and mental health education in both academic and clinical field positions. In these roles, Tracie has taught at the University of Utah, the University of Southern California, the University of California Los Angeles, California State University-Northridge, and Argosy University. She is skilled in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Relationship Counseling, Positive Psychology, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness Work, as well as Religious/Faith issues and PTSD/Trauma Treatment. Tracie is experienced in treating anxiety disorders, PTSD, mood disorders, depression, OCD/perfectionism, and life adjustment issues. She is passionate about helping people achieve increased levels of joy in their life pursuits, relationships, and within their minds and hearts. In her personal life, Tracie is well known for her love of dogs. She has a Golden Labrador Retriever named “Gus,” who has been her faithful companion for 12 years. Tracie also enjoys living in her old urban-farm house, reading, cooking, and spending time with family.
