What should a new client know about working with you?

I am an LCSW-S licensed clinical social work supervisor with over 20 years of experience helping individuals, children, teens and families. I specialize in women’s issues, trauma, abuse and family violence, anxiety and depression, parenting, grief and loss and difficult life transitions. I use a variety of trauma informed and client-centered approaches such as CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy) and mindfulness that will empower and challenge you. I work with clients of all ages both in person and remote availability.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My clients describe me as patient, kind, empathetic yet able to hold me accountable when needed. Something to know about my approach is that I will focus on your strengths and challenge you in ways you may not have thought of. Together we will look at your strengths and challenges and work on a plan for a more satisfying and meaningful life.
