Getting to know Tracy Dempsey

Hello! I'm Tracy. It looks like you've taken the first step in helping yourself work through whatever you have been dealing with. Engaging in therapy can be daunting, but you've made yourself a priority and should be commended for it. I hold a Master's in Community Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University, which has equipped me to support you effectively. I'm here to help you learn coping strategies and mindfulness to assist in managing anxiety, depression, work stressors, and relationship issues, and to offer guidance so you can be your best self. I see things holistically and believe our mental, physical, and spiritual health can influence one another. I hope we can work together and help you grow and gain the peace of mind you're looking for.

What should a new client know about working with you?

We will spend the first session exploring what you are looking for in therapy and then work towards achieving your goals. We will utilize mindfulness training and coping exercises to enable you to continue to work outside of our sessions.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
