Tracy Faust, LPC

Psychotherapist
WI
Hello, I am Tracy Faust, a Licensed Professional Counselor holding licenses to practice in Wisconsin, Vermont, and Delaware-and soon to be also in South Carolina. I earned my Master's in Counseling from Marquette University and my Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds presenting with a wide range of symptoms, though I am not trained in EMDR or the treatment of eating disorders. My approach I am a proponent of client-based services-person-centered, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques. My focus I work with any client who feels our connection is a good fit and will support individuals presenting with any symptom set outside of eating disorders. My communication style Working with me feels like being heard while also being challenged to improve. My journey to mental healthcare My parents divorced when I was a young child, and my mother took me to see a therapist to help work through that. I deeply appreciated the support and unconditional positive regard I sensed from the therapist, even if I could not verbalize it then. My goals for you I develop goals based on client statements and presentation, always conferring with clients before finalizing goals to ensure we are aligned on what they want to accomplish. My first session with you Clients can expect a thorough approach to gather all necessary background and historical information to reach an appropriate diagnosis and develop goals that guide the treatment plan-all while building rapport and laying the foundation for a strong therapeutic relationship.
